The Tinggi-UNM MA Scholarship is a merit-based award designed to empower academically outstanding students. This scholarship provides full tuition coverage for eligible Master’s programs and includes additional benefits to support the recipients during their studies.

Applicable Programs
Recipients can choose from the following Master’s programs at the University of Nottingham Malaysia:
- MA in Education
- MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)
Scholarship Benefits
The scholarship offers:
- 100% tuition fee waiver
- A monthly stipend of RM1,500
- Opportunity to gain hands-on teaching experience at IDEAS Academy, working four days a week (7:30 AM to 3:30 PM) for two years. Responsibilities include teaching subjects aligned with the IGCSE curriculum.
- Enrollment in the chosen Master’s program as a part-time student.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a Malaysian citizen.
- Hold a relevant second-class honors degree (or international equivalent) from an approved university.
- Meet the English language proficiency requirements:
- IELTS: 6.5 (with no less than 6.0 in each element)
- TOEFL (iBT): 87 (minimum 20 in Speaking and 19 in all other elements)
- MUET: Band 4
- Fulfill the academic and English language entry requirements for the MA Education or MA TESOL programs.
